We took the ferry from Pembroke to Rosslare and after arriving an hour late we drove to Enniscorthy where we had a late tea with castle view.
We visted a number of castle on the way from Enniscorthy to Salthill / Galway
We camped in Salthill, near Galway. We took the bus into Galway City and walked back by the coast.
We parked the car west of Galway and took the foot ferry to Inishmore, the biggest of the Aran Islands.
We hired bikes and cycled around the island. The ancient ring fort Dun Aonghasa is very spectacular located at the edge of a cliff.
We looked forward to seeing the Cliffs of Mohar, but we were somewhat dissappointed by them due to the touristicness of them and renamed them Cliffs of Poo on our map.
From Doolin we drove to a lovely campsite in Bunratty and we had a couple of stops on the way.
We visited Bunratty Castle and Folkpark, Knappogue Castle and Quin Friary.
We drove around the lovely Dingle peninsula and made several stops at bee hive huts and Gallarus Oratory.
Not many pictures due to a very rainy day.
Unfortunately another rainy day, so we decided to head towards Cork.
On our way to the ferry we had a couple of quick stop overs. Dungraven Castle was one of them.
